Cold Shoulder Sweater

Fall weather is finally here and I couldn’t be more excited! Growing up in the south, you learn to be prepared for crazy weather. Early fall usually means cool, crisp mornings and 80 degree afternoons. A cold shoulder top or sweater is one of the easiest ways to stay comfortable in that ever-changing weather.

This particular one is from Red Dress Boutique and is one of my favorite colors for this season.  It has a loose and long fit, which I love! The sweater weave itself is on the looser side, so I recommend wearing a camisole under it. It also comes in black and is under $40.  From now on I’ll be linking all available featured items at the bottom of the post, so check them out when you’re done reading!

I paired this sweater with my new favorite jeans from LOFT. I started wearing LOFT jeans in high school and had a favorite fit, but these jeans are my new favorite! I’ve bought this fit in two different washes and they’re so worth it. This is called the modern fit and it’s perfect. I love jeans with stretch because they’re comfortable, but my body type is not one that can handle a super tight and stretchy jean. These are the perfect mix of cotton and stretch. This particular pair is button fly which I love! The only thing I can think would be a negative is the length; these are the perfect length for me, but I’m 5’9″. If you’re on the shorter side, I would recommend ordering a petite! You can get these jeans for 50% off right now with code “FRIENDS” at checkout.

My booties are BCBG and are from DSW. I love the buckle detail and the heel height- it’s not too tall or too short, and it’s really comfortable. They’re still available in limited sizes in black on DSW, but you can find them at multiple places by searching “BCBGeneration Savanna bootie.”

Every good outfit deserves a good bag, don’t you agree? If you haven’t heard of SavvyRoot, you’re missing out! SavvyRoot is a Louisiana based brand of luxury hand bags. They have beautiful colors, patterns, and clear bags for collegiate and professional sports venues. This is actually my mom’s (thanks, Mama!) But it is the most beautiful color and best shape! The bad news is that most of their bags are sold out on their website, but you can always sign up for email updates! These bags are worth the wait- trust me!

If you love these pieces even half as much as I do, you won’t regret purchasing them! What are some of your favorite pieces and trends for fall? Let me know in the comments!
