Chicken Pasta

I am a self-proclaimed Crockpot lover. I often hear people say “I hate anything cooked in the Crockpot!”

Erm, what? If you don’t own and use a crockpot then I’m sorry, but you’re not living your best life.

Crockpot meals are my favorite for weekdays. They’re so quick and easy; I mean they’re seriously just hard to beat!i I’m also a major carb addict, so a crockpot pasta recipe is like the Holy Grail of weeknight meals for me.

I made this for me and some girlfriends one night and it was such a hit! At that time, the blog was barely even a thought for me. But once the blog launched, I knew I was going to share this recipe. Why? 3 reasons:

1.) It’s really, really delicious.

2.) It’s really, really easy.

3.) It’s really, really cheap.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 or 2 lbs of chicken breast (depending on your desired chicken to sauce ratio)

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 8oz cream cheese

1 dry italian dressing mix

1 lb pasta

Directions:

Place chicken in the crockpot. Sprinkle italian dressing powder over chicken. Combine cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup in a small pot on the stove. Pour over chicken and cook on high for 4 hours. Serve over your favorite pasta and voila! You’re done!

That’s literally all you do guys! It’s sooo good and makes enough for at least 4-5 servings.

The recipe can be easily doubled to feed more or to cook enough for leftovers. It is one of my all time favorite “easy meals” and is husband, brother, and (from what I hear) kid approved!
