I’ve always had a thing for animal print. In elementary school, my walls were painted bright pink and I had zebra print pillows and accents. Shout out to my parents for letting me live that adolescent dream, but I think we can all be happy I grew out of that phase.
Animal print still holds a special place in my heart…it’s now just a better, more tasteful, adult-like place. So you can imagine my excitement when I saw all the cheetah print goodness coming out this fall! This clutch was one of the first things that caught my eye, and I ordered it ASAP!
Here’s what you need to know about it:
The price is awesome and the quality is not lacking at all! It has a nice gold zipper and comes with a detachable gold chain. I love carrying a shoulder bag, so the chain was a nice surprise when it came in the mail. While carrying a clutch is really cute, it’s not always practical, so I’ll definitely be using the chain.
The pattern on the bag is definitely a statement maker, but not so bold that you can’t use it for some basic pattern mixing. If you’re a veteran pattern mixer, I have a lot to learn from you! But if you’re a newbie, a classic combo like stripes and dots (in this case, cheetah dots) is a great place to start! In all honesty, I pretty much treat cheetah print like a neutral so you’ll be seeing me pair it with flannel and other fall prints all season.
Let’s talk texture:
Another big trend for the fall is texture: velvet, suede, corduroy, fur…the list goes on and on. This is obviously a faux fur clutch, but it still meets the texture requirement. It has all the components necessary to give your outfit a finishing touch.
I got this clutch from Red Dress Boutique the first time it was stocked and it quickly sold out! It’s been restocked, but I’m sure it won’t last, so get it while you can! I’ve linked it for you here. RDB is one of my favorite online retailers and they put new things on their website literally everyday! The prices are great and I always get my items quickly. You can also find them on instagram (@shopreddress) to see all of their upcoming pieces through their instagram story.
This bag is sure to be a staple for me this fall, winter, and probably on into the early spring months. Be sure to check out all the things RDB has to offer on their site and let me know what your favorites are!
